Great Plains - Central States U-15 Lacrosse Team Tryouts
Our region has been invited to send teams to the US Lacrosse U15 National Tournament this summer. The tournament will be held outside Baltimore, Maryland on July 7-9, 2009. The tournament will include 32 teams from around the country. Our region (North/Central) consists of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota. The team will try to gave equal representation from all areas.
Planning is still in the early stages, but tryouts will be held in Kansas City sometime in March. The team will ultimately have 25 players and 5 alternates. The best 7th, 8th and 9th graders (under the age of 15 on 12/31/2008) are encouraged to try out.
